Based off of the original Mortal Kombat story, the evil shapeshifter Shang Tsung has organized a tournament for fighters from all corners of the world and beyond to come and compete in. The story follows Scorpion for the most part as he fights through the tournament, so this animated feature film should hold fans over until at least the live action Mortal Kombat reboot, slated for release in January
