The story starts before Taha's birth, with Amer Hlehel playing the role of Taha's parents as they live through the birth and subsequent death of their young.

Based on the life of the Palestinian poet Taha Muhammad Ali, Hlehel will talk about the issues brought up in this one-man show which has taken him to stages.

The stage held only the performer, and a bench. The actor was wonderful, and contributed greatly to making the play even more unsettling than it already was. What an intense and brilliant show. It’s very hard not to discuss politics in such a play.
